At Casa La Parra
We offer our guests a central location from which to explore the wonderful natural beauty of rural Spain and the historic attractions of the Andalucian towns and cities.
Based in Algodonales, a typical Andalucian pueblo blanco, you will be within easy driving distance of Ronda, Sevilla, Cadiz, Jerez, Malaga, Antiquera and Cordoba. Grenada, with the magnificent Alhambra Palace, is just over 2 hours from us.
You will also be a short drive away from the Grazalema and Zahara Natural Park which is a popular centre for both walkers and bird watchers. Alternatively we can arrange for you explore the beautiful landscape on horseback or on a bicycle saddle!
There are great bicycle tracks to pack some exercise into your break if you wish, we offer bicycle hire to our guests, at a small cost.The via Verde is just a short drive from us.
Algodonales is a mecca for paragliding and hang gliding pilots and Casa La Para can offer a comfortable base for visiting pilots and their non-flying partners. We also cater for visiting artists that come to soak up the inspirational colours and images of the local landscape.
Algodonales is also well located for climbing, caving, windsurfing, gorge running & mountaineering
At Casa La Parra we have the flexibility to offer accommodation to suit your needs. In the main house we offer rooms on a bed and breakfast basis. We have 4 guest rooms comprising of 3 en-suite doubles and 1 en-suite family room which consists of 1 double and 1 single bed.
Attached to the house we also have two self contained apartments. The larger apartment sleeps 4 and the smaller studio apartment has a double bed.
In the gardens of Casa La Parra you'll find a stable for our horses, sun loungers next to our solar heated swimming pool and our orchards of lemon, orange and olive trees. Whilst back inside you can enjoy the cosy large open fire whilst you catch up on all your favourite programs on our satellite TV.

Our Pool
Available for the use of guests: a 10m x 4m swimming pool. There is also a very large decking area for sun bathing and general relaxation, adjacent to the pool is its own bathroom with shower and toilet, next door is the mini gym with exercise bike and stepping machines.
*We provide pool towels so no need to overload your suitcases*.

- This is a single studio apartment with bathroom, kitchen and bedroom/living room
- The bedroom has a double bed with room for additional children(s) beds if needed

Our pool area is just perfect for relaxing by, taking in the stunning views and breathing in all the fresh air.Our aim is to create a cosy domestic environment, for us it's very important that you have the "feel at home" experience, in addition to the calmness of the view and the natural environment. Enjoy our beautiful sunset with a glass of regional wine. We wish our guests a comfortable stay!
You can have a continental breakfast on the terrace,and enjoy the magnificent panorama. In the wintertime we offer breakfast in the stylish dinning/lounge sitting near the fire place.
Every morning we serve a delicious breakfast,fruit for our garden. From our orchard freshly squeezed orange juice and red grapefruit.Fresh eggs, Home made jams and marmalades. Toast and croissants, Seasonal fruits, Spanish meat,regional cheeses Teas and freshly brewed coffee.
We have air conditioning in the large apartment and also in the small studio apartment.

Flight info...
The nearest airports are Seville and Jerez (both about an hour away). Ryanair now fly from a number of UK airports to Jerez, Seville and Malaga at extremely reasonable rates. Another company with good fares is Vueling who fly from Heathrow to Seville. Malaga and Gibraltar airports are approximately 90/130 minutes drive away respectively, with many schedule and charter airlines operating from most UK airports.
